Email to Contacts
Save the sender of an email to your phone's contacts in one click.
How it works
- Open an email. A Save to contacts button appears beside it.
- Check the details read from their signature: name, email, phone, job title and company. Edit anything you like.
- Click Save. The contact goes into your Google Contacts, and your phone shows it by itself.
Nothing is saved unless you click, and it never saves the same person twice.
Where it works
- Browser extension (Chrome and Edge): Gmail, Outlook on the web and iCloud Mail, plus any other email website by selecting the signature.
- Gmail add-on: Gmail on the web and in the Gmail app on Android and iPhone.
Phones: Android shows Google contacts automatically. On iPhone, turn on Contacts for your Google account in Settings.
Privacy
It reads only the email you have open, only when you use it, and talks directly to Google. There's no server in between and nothing is shared. See the privacy policy.
